2020 REFUNDS PROCESSED
Refunds for subscriptions should now be showing up in your accounts. Sorry for the delay. This was due to a difficulty with the agency that deals with our online payments. If you have not received your refund by Monday 13th please contact me by email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Many thanks to those who chose to donate their subscriptions to the Club. We'll need do something special for the boys next year.

2020 SEASON REFUNDS
Emails have gone out to those of you who paid the £25 subscription on line. A number of you have declined a refund which is in effect a donation to the club. For this the Club is most grateful. We are also heartened by the kind comments left on Facebook. There is a fair amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to set up the season and it’s nice when this is acknowledged.
For those who paid in cash we’ll be in touch by email to find out the best way to get a refund to you.
The schools close on Friday so best of luck to both parents and youngsters for this enforced ‘holiday’.
Just a reminder for all coaches (returning and new) to attend at Elgin City Social Club Boroughbriggs on Monday 16th March - 7pm. It's important that we have as many coaches there as possible in order to rate the players before allocation.
Also, Friday 13th March is the deadline for registration, after which the online form will be closed.
The deadline for applications will be Friday 13th March (this Friday). We are very nearly at capacity for this year. The forms will still be available after this date for a short time but it’s likely that you will be on the reserve list therefore send NO MONEY.
So what happens now. On Monday 16th March all the coaches meet. The applications are divided into juniors, intermediates and seniors by age. The coaches for each section then grade the ability of each player based on the coaches' previous knowledge of that player. (5=fantastic: 1=basic). The teams are chosen on the basis that the abilities of the players are evenly distributed to ensure fairness. The coaches are allocated their team and will contact the players - probably by the end of next week. We're short of Junior coaches so there may be some delay in the process. Be patient please.
The season starts week commencing Monday 13th April and the fixtures will be posted on this website. Before then we generally have a few friendly matches and some training – your coach will instruct you.
We still have some vacancies for coaching in the Junior section so if you have some spare time and would like to help out get in touch with either Neil Fotheringham or Tiger Porter (see Contacts).
This year’s AGM will be of Thursday 5th March at 7.00pm at Elgin City Social Club (Boroughbriggs). All previous coaches and committee members are welcome as well as potential new coaches. As always I’m hoping for a good turn out as it’s the time to discuss new ideas and ways to improve the running of the Club.
Registration is going well with 279 applications although there are still have vacancies at Intermediate and Senior level.

- AGM: Thurs 5th March – Boroughbriggs (7pm to be confirmed)
- Registration: Sunday 8th March (for those not paying online)
- Allocations Night: Mon 16th March
- Start of season: Mon 13th April
As usual all registration will be done on line and full instructions will be included on this website. It’s on a first come first served basis so don’t leave it till the last minute. For those who (for whatever reason) don’t wish to pay on line we have a facility to pay cash or cheque on 8th march at Bouroughbriggs (Elgin City FC). More on this later.
As for the coaches a committee member will be in touch over the coming weeks to find out who’s up for another season and who is stepping down.
